Double Standards

I want to know why so many double standards exist in this county, especially when it comes to dealing with Haydee Robinson. At the last school board meeting the county attorney (whom the taxpayers pay) point blank called a member of the community a liar in open session. After digging around and learning about what happened behind the scenes it is a very disturbing thing indeed. Back at the beginning of this consolidation process the attorney told Mrs. Glenda O’Quinn in front of a friend that if the citizens of Haysi would calm down they would get their elementary school. At the last meeting Mrs. O’Quinn reminded him of this fact and his response was to call her a liar in front of the community. The reason I say double standards exist is because I have been contacted many times about the dealings teachers, janitors, bus drivers, and maintenance workers have been talked to by Mrs. Robinson when they make mistakes. She gives them the always take the high road speech, we work in the public eye. You have to always remember that you work for the community. So does this not apply to the lawyer who should understand right from wrong? Apparently if you stay in her corner you are good to do and say whatever you want to do. The thing that bothers me about this is that it was not just a citizen but a former teacher and administrator that dedicated her life to the kids of this county.
