Oh Mr. Barton!

I keep hearing about what a wonderful job you did last night defending the Haysi community. While I have to applaud you for this I simply cannot forget the fact that you are Mrs. Robinson’s number one supporter. Whatever she says or wants you step forward and do in unison with her other two board members. At some point I hoped that you would understand that you are in a boss worker relationship with her and you are not her bff, but alas that time never came. If you really wanted the elementary school built at Haysi you would have gotten it done by now. It is very difficult for me to sit back and view you as a hero for one act of bravery when you have been weak for so long. I hope this is the start of a different school board member but I honestly think you are only doing this because you know your family business will be sunk if you do not. Prove me wrong, actually stop having your family sit with Mrs. Robinson at ballgames and act like they are her long lost buddies. Realize there is a boss/worker relationship that needs to be understood before you can grow and prosper. Honestly your good fight last night came about 5 or 6 years and too many bad decisions too late.
