Tried to stop blogging but the madness continues

I really wanted to step away from this website, but the voters made it impossible to do so. In November they not only voted back in Mrs. Robinson's yes man Rocky Barton, but they also voted in a new yes man in Rick Mullins. These two along with Dr. Lyall gave her a new contract, despite the fact that she is not liked by anyone in this county. This led me to believe that maybe the fight is over and I had to accept the results as they are.

In the last 6 months the wheels have completely gone off of the train and those responsible are being brought to the light. The issues that concern me the most are:

The School Board choosing to skip a payment that was made to train, even though the BOS gave them the money for it. Where did this money go? Did they use it for necessary expenses or did they use it for something frivolous? If I use my payday for whatever, I have bills that will not get paid, that is on me. This is on them, not the county.

David Moore is not the bad guy in this situation, the BOS goes above and beyond to fund the needs of the school system and the school board should not keep making them out to be the bad guy in this situation. Mr. Moore makes less than almost every director at the school board office.

In this current budget turmoil the superintendent has targeted the spouses insurance benefits to save money, while her contract requires the school system provide insurance for her spouse.

This has spiraled into a spitting contest between the superintendent and the BOS, which side will blink first. Wait it does not work that way. The BOS funds the school system, they have all the leverage in this situation. Mrs. Robinson keeps telling everyone kids first. Well when the BOS and the school leader clashes, the students will be the ones that suffer. She either needs to regain her credibility or take a hike and stop hurting the system she claims to love.
