Hidden in Plain Sight

I decided to take a little time and look around some of the county webpages today and low and behold what did I find. I found factual information that backs up some of what I have been told. The School Board is truly out of control and needs to answer for their indiscretions

I took the liberty to take some screenshots from the minutes of the March meeting.

So, the chairman of the School Board did admit in public session that Mrs. Robinson had not been evaluated in 4 years. So before they issued the superintendent a new contract, they evaluated her and fixed this, right? Wrong, this is from the exact same board meeting.

This is unbelievable and should never have happened, this board knew that Mrs. Robinson should have been evaluated and was not, they had time to do this, her contract was not up until June 30, 2016. Why would they go ahead and push this through? Not only push it through but also add in the extra "modifications" regarding the health insurance. Well take a look at the person who made the motion for the new contract, the same person who campaigned for his position with none other than Dr. Robinson, the husband of Superintendent Robinson (this was confirmed by multiple people, this is not a rumor). So he made the motion, who else voted for this contract. I supported Mr. Mullins in his independent bid to represent this area in Richmond and was upset that he did not prevail. Hindsight being 20/20, if this is the kind of representative he would have been it is a good thing he did not win.

The minutes of this meeting can be found on the DCPS website at http://dcps.k12.va.us/UserFiles/Servers/Server_5990008/File/Central%20Office/School%20Board/Minutes/2015-2016/Minutes%20for%20March%2023,%202016.pdf
